You are never more than 50 miles from your local United Fresh supply partner, in fact, we can do one better – across our entire client base, our average distance from your kitchen to the nominated depot is 29 miles!
Our mission
United Fresh was founded in 2007, with the vision of offering the foodservice industry a fresh alternative to national fresh produce supply. Now, many years later and 2 generations in, we have been very busy, and it shows!
We bring together innovative regional suppliers, dedicated to delivering the entire fresh offering to the foodservice industry. We offer top-notch local products in season, boasting exceptional quality and provenance. Our commitment shines through in both our products and unrivalled customer service.
Sustainability
We are dedicated to being stewards of our planet. Hospitality and Agriculture are big topics within the sustainability sphere, and we know that things have to change. Which is why we’ve dedicated time and funding into our own team to guide not only ourselves, but our supply partners down the path that is needed for our planet. Working closely with stakeholders and clients, we understand the importance of steady but consistent progress in the right direction.
Our model
We have carefully, over many years, created a consortium of local foodservice suppliers who are experts in their speciality and region, many being multi-generational family businesses, just like ours. They understand the importance of not only a quality product, but also quality service. Our clients aren’t just a number on our database, they are supporters of not only our company but our suppliers too.
Working with a breadth of our suppliers of different sizes and sourcing techniques, we work to give our clients a realistic view of the current industry situations, whilst continuing to stay competitive and transparent.
Despite our abundance of supply partners, we offer our clients a single point of contact through United Fresh, which means that you are able to experience the benefits of local supply without the admin headaches of supplier management, we’ll do all that for you!
Seasonality
Seasonality has been a passion of ours since the beginning. Enabling clients to experience the local offerings of their area at the best times of the year is something that not only we do, but our supply partners do well at. We are proud to work with companies who truly want to showcase their local, regional offerings and support the local communities they are part of. Whether that’s Wild Girolles from the Scottish Wilderness, Hereford Cattle in Herefordshire, or Cromer Crab in Norfolk. We want you to get the best product at the right time of year to enable you to make the best dishes possible.
